Created: March 30, 2017 : WorktoJob Ltd. (“WorktoJob”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to describe to you our practices regarding the Personal Data (as defined below) we collect from users of our website, located at www.worktojob.com (the “Site”) and online service (“Service”).

User Consent

  • By submitting Personal Data through our Site or Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service and you expressly consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data as set out in this Privacy Policy.

A Note About Children

  • We do not intentionally gather Personal Data from visitors who are under the age of 16. If a child under 16 submits Personal Data to WorktoJob and we learn that the Personal Data is the information of a child under 16, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible. If you believe that we might have any Personal Data from a child under 16, please contact us at contact@worktojob.com.

International Transfers of Your Personal Data

  • We operate globally and will transfer your information to other companies within the WorktoJob group of companies or third parties in locations around the world, including the India, and the European Union, where laws regarding the processing of Personal Data may be less stringent that the laws in your country. By providing your Personal Data, you consent to such transfers.
  • We use third party providers to host and store your data who comply with the US- EU Safe Harbor Framework and the US-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of Personal Data from European Union member countries and Switzerland. These providers have certified their adherence to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access and enforcement. Types Of Data We Collect

  • “Personal Data” means data that can be used to identify you or any other individual to whom the data relates, including, for example, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data. “Anonymous Data” means data that does not directly or indirectly identify you and cannot be reasonably used to identify an individual use  and includes data about groups or categories of users to the Site. 
  • We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data, as described below.
  • Information You Provide To Us
    • You do not have to give us any Personal Data in order to use most of our Site. However, we will collect Personal Data about you in the following situations:
    • If you are a candidate and choose to set up an account with us ("Account"), we collect your first and last name, location, phone number, gender, e-mail and mailing addresses, professional title, company name, employment history, education history (including relevant training and qualifications), personal summary, and password.
    • If you are an employer, we will collect your contact details as well as details about your organisation. 
    • We retain information on behalf of candidates, such as files and messages that you store using your Account (e.g. interview requests from employers)
    • If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail, we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail, in order to send you a reply.
    • When you post content (text, images, photographs, messages, comments or any other kind of content that is not your e-mail address) on our Site, the information contained in your posting will be stored in our servers and other users will be able to see it, along with your profile photo and any other information that you choose to make public on your public profile page (“Profile”). The information that you provide in your Profile will be visible to others, including anonymous visitors to the Site.
    • When you post messages on the message boards of our Site, the information contained in your posting will be stored on our servers and other users will be able to see it.
    • When you participate in one of our surveys, we may collect additional profile information.
    • We also collect other types of Personal Data that you provide to us voluntarily, such as your operating system and version, product registration number, and other requested information if you contact us via e-mail regarding support for the Service.
    • You should avoid providing us with any sensitive data relating to your (i) race or ethnic origin (ii) political beliefs (iii) philosophical or religious beliefs (iv) membership of a trade union or political party (v) physical or mental health (vi) sexual life; or (vii) commission of criminal offences or proceedings . If you do provide this information, you should only do so if you are content for us to process this information in accordance this Privacy Policy.
    • If you provide us with details of a reference, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person is aware that you have forwarded his/her details and has consented in writing for you to do so.
  • Information You Provide To Facebook And Other Social Networking Sites
    • If you are not currently registered as a user of the Service, and you click on “Sign In” using Facebook, Linkedin or any other SNS that we support, you will first be asked to enter your SNS credentials and then be given the option to register for the Service. In this case, we may receive information from that SNS to make it easier for you to create an Account on the Site. Any information that we collect from your SNS account may depend on the privacy settings you have with that SNS, so please consult the SNS’s privacy and data practices.
  • Information Collected Via Technology
    • Our Site uses technology such as cookies to automatically gather additional information about our users. For more information about cookies and other information which is automatically collected about you, please see our Terms.
  • Information Collected From You About Others
    • If you decide to invite a third party to create an Account, we will collect your and the third party’s names and e-mail addresses in order to send an e-mail and follow up with the third party. We rely upon you to obtain whatever consents from the third party that may be required by law to allow us to access and upload the third party’s names and e-mail addresses as required above. You or the third party may contact us at contact@worktojob.com to request the removal of this information from our database. Also, when you invite friends to the Service, we will access your Address Book and we will import your contacts names and phone numbers in order to facilitate the invitation. Please only invite friends that you think will want to hear from us. The e-mail that is sent to your friends will come from your e-mail address so that your friends know that you want to invite them to visit the Site. We do not store any passwords you provide as part of the contact import process. We also collect some settings that help us to interpret your data, such as the language and keyboard settings that you have established.
  • Information Collected From Third Party Companies
    • We may receive Personal and/or Anonymous Data about you from companies that provide our Service by way of a co-branded or private-labelled website or companies that offer their products and/or services on our Site. These third party companies may supply us with Personal Data where we have your permission to do so. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via our Site in order to improve the Service we provide.

      • send you administrative e-mail notifications, such as information about pending job offers or interviews, security or support and maintenance advisories;
      • respond to your inquiries related to employment opportunities or other requests;
      • make telephone calls to you, from time to time, to verify your identity and as a part of secondary fraud protection or to solicit your feedback;
      • send you calendar invitations;
      • send newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials (including by email) related to our Service and for other marketing purposes of WorktoJob;
      • provide you with online personalised  services and targeted advertising including through use of cookies and other technologies when you visit our Site
    • We may also carry out certain background checks using your Personal Data (such checks may vary from country to country) though we will seek your consent before doing so.
  • User Testimonials And Feedback
    • We often receive testimonials and comments from users who have had positive experiences with our Service. We occasionally publish such content. When we publish this content, we may identify our users by their first and last name and may also indicate their home city. We obtain the user’s consent prior to posting his or her name along with the testimonial. We may post user feedback on the Site from time to time. We will share your feedback with your first name and last initial only. If we choose to post your first and last name along with your feedback, we will obtain your consent prior to posting you name with your feedback. If you make any comments on a blog or forum associated with your Site, you should be aware that any Personal Data you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these blogs and forums.
  • Creation Of Anonymous and Aggregated Data
    • We may create Anonymous Data records from Personal Data. We use this Anonymous Data to analyse request and usage patterns so that we may enhance the content of our Service and improve Site navigation. We reserve the right to use Anonymous Data for any purpose and disclose Anonymous Data to our group companies and other interested third parties in our sole discretion.

    • We disclose your Personal Data as described below and as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
  • Third Parties Designated By You
    • When you use the Service, the Personal Data you provide will be shared with the third parties that you designate to receive such information, including employers, other websites, your friends, relatives and business associates. This is part of the Batch and Request Process as further explained in Section 5 of our Terms of Service. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Depending on the type of access you grant to such third parties, they may also be permitted to edit the information you have provided to us and to designate others to access and edit such information. You may change your settings at any time as to who has access to your information by going to your account settings and changing your publishing options.
    • We attempt to limit access to our Site to legitimate users such as paying employers but we cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to the Site and the Service. We cannot control the use made of any information found on the Site by such third parties. Once your profile information has been disclosed, we are not able to retrieve it from the third party who accessed it.
  • Third Party Service Providers
    • We may share your Personal Data with third party service providers to: provide you with the Service that we offer you through our Site; to conduct quality assurance testing; to facilitate creation  of accounts; to provide technical support; and/or to provide other services to WorktoJob. This will be done securely and confidentially and only to the extent permitted under applicable data protection laws. These third party service providers are required not to use your Personal Data other than to provide the services requested by WorktoJob.

    • We may share some or all of your Personal Data with our parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (“Affiliates”) for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, in which case we will require our Affiliates to honour this Privacy Policy. A list of our current Affiliates will be available on our Site where relevant.
  • Corporate Restructuring
    • We may share some or all of your Personal Data in connection with or during negotiation  of any merger, financing, acquisition or dissolution transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets. In the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, Personal Data may also be transferred as a business asset. If another company acquires our company, business, or assets, that company will possess the Personal Data collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy.
  • Social Networking Sites
    • Our Service may enable you to post content to SNSs. If you choose to do this, we will provide information to such SNSs in accordance with your elections. Your photos, posts, friends, and other content you post to the Site are also meant for public consumption. We may display this content on the Site and further distribute it to a wider audience through third party sites and services. Once displayed on publicly-viewable web pages, that information can be collected and used by others. We cannot control who reads your postings or what other users may do with the information that you voluntarily post, so it is very important that you do not put Personal Data, sensitive information or any data you would not want to be made public in your posts.   • Security Of Your Personal Data
    • WorktoJob is committed to protecting the security of your Personal Data. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorised  access, use, or disclosure. We also require you to enter a password to access your Account information. Please do not disclose your Account password to unauthorised people. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while WorktoJob uses reasonable efforts to protect your Personal Data, WorktoJob cannot guarantee its absolute security.

  • This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason.
